We are all over the moon to have been presented with the prestigious “Green Award” at The SME Northamptonshire Business Awards 2017 on Wednesday 25th October at The Mercure Daventry Court Hotel.
We were even more delighted that our brilliant, long-serving Production Manager, Chris (pictured right – with the beard) was there to collect the award on behalf of the whole team.
It means a lot for a family-run independent manufacturer to be recognised for the genuine efforts we are making in sustainability. It’s something we take very seriously indeed and we’ll be making many more improvements over the coming months and years, wherever we possibly can.
According to the category brief, being “green” in business terms, means reducing or removing the harmful impact that products and/or services have on the environment… and we aim to do exactly that.
Sustainability forms part of every decision we make, and Ideal is committed to the protection of the environment and to the prevention of pollution. We believe in a responsible approach to product development, manufacture and supply; through intelligent formulation, reduced energy consumption, alternative packaging solutions and recycling.
